We would like to thank Dr. Gudrun Dauner for confirming, after direct examination of the drawing on June 23, 2025, that it was a drawing by Girolamo da Carpi, probably inspired by a fresco by Polidoro da Caravaggio for the façade of a palace in Rome's piazza dei Capretarri.
